WISE – The Best Way to Make International Transfers

In 2018 I bought my first house in Spain. I had to transfer money for the deposit to my account in Spain as well as make the currency conversion. I paid my bank for a wire and it really cost a lot of money. The next time I used a service recommended by my real estate agent in Spain. This time it was a little bit easier, but still cost more than I would like. 

Then I found Wise (formerly known as TransferWise)! At first, I thought it was too good to be true. I did a lot of research before deciding to make my first transfer. I just couldn’t understand how they were able to charge so much less. Then I read about their process, and it made so much sense. 

I’ve used them for five years now and they have gotten even better! Now, when I make a transfer to my Spanish bank account, the money is in the account within seconds. I am also able to make transfers to other people I know in Spain, when they’ve provided a service. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for this app!
